SYDNEY, NSW: Dyson has begun shipping its latest floorcare solution, the Dyson Digital Slim DC35. Marketed as the most powerful lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner on the market, the DC35 has been years in the making.

The four main features of the new Dyson are its narrow wand for getting at hard-to-reach places, a unique floor tool combining nylon bristles and carbon fibre, an advanced lithium-ion battery, and a one-touch emptying bin.

According to Dyson, an independent motor in the cleaner head spins the brush bar 1,400 times every minute.

“Other cordless vacuum cleaners struggle with even simple cleaning tasks,” said a Dyson Australia spokesperson. “The suction starts weak and gets weaker. In fact, they can lose up to half their suction in just one bin full, leaving mess behind in the home.”

The new Dyson DC35 is available from electrical appliance stores and department stores for RRP $469.
