SYDNEY, NSW: Logitech, the Swiss brand famous for super expensive universal remote controls, has today dropped the price on its entry level model, declaring it the cheapest Harmony remote ever.

From today, the RRP for the Harmony 300 will be $39, the first time a Logitech Harmony has been recommended for sale below the $40 mark.

“We launched the Harmony 300 into Australia earlier this year and it has been met with great demand; it’s already one of the best selling products in the category,” said Logitech ANZ director George Saad. “We aim to make Logitech products available at price points that will allow everyone to enjoy the benefits of our technology, and with Christmas not far away we’re glad to have achieved this in time for the shopping season.”

According to Logitech’s Australian website, its most expensive remote is the Harmony 900, which is RRP $599.

In other Logitech news, consumers who purchase any product from the range can go into a draw to win $2,000 in a daily draw. This offer runs until 10 January 2011. For more information on this promotion, visit this website.
