SYDNEY, NSW: Buffalo has released a new digital storage device to keep up with the demand for home entertainment storage systems.

The DriveStation AV USB 2.0 multimedia hard drive provides storage expansion for HD TVs, digital set-top boxes, media players, gaming systems.

The need for equipment to help access and store multimedia content in the home is apparent, said Brad Hales of Uniden Australia, who distributes Buffalo storage systems.

“Consumers are becoming much more tech-savvy when it comes to accessing and enjoying multimedia content at home. Designed to enable fast, secure back-up and storage of digital data, the DriveStation AV gives consumers access to all their favourite movies, television programs, podcasts and music at their fingertips,” said Hales.

A dimmable blue LED display indicates the remaining data storage, which is available in 1 terabyte, 1.5 terabyte and 2 terabyte capacities.

The products are available in Bing Lee, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Retravision, WOW Sight & Sound, Myer and David Jones stores nationally.
