SYDNEY, NSW: Canon Australia has today announced the appointment of Jeff Peake as its new product manager for laser printers. Peake already has an impressive resume in the industry, with stints and Sony, Samsung and Hybrid TV.

According to Canon Australian GM, marketing – consumer, Darren Ryan, Peake’s focus will be on product and marketing innovation and supply chain management.

“Jeff will play a pivotal role as we look to further engage with our customers and grow sales and market share of Canon’s multi-functional laser printers,” said Ryan.

“Canon is an employer of choice and attracts some of the best marketing minds in the country. We are delighted to have Jeff, with his wealth of consumer marketing experience, join the team to drive product and campaign innovation for the laser printer category and help build on our successes.”

Directly before joining Canon, Peake was the national sales manager for TiVo, which is distributed in Australia by Hybrid TV. Before that, he worked in senior marketing roles at Sony and Samsung. Peake said it was Canon’s commitment to research and development that attracted him to this role.
