SYDNEY, NSW: In the lead up to Father’s Day suppliers are looking at expanding their growth categories in an attempt to pick up sales after a quiet winter trading period.
The male ‘groom boom’ is a strong growth category and Conair Australia will be supporting the launch of several new grooming tools under the Vidal Sassoon For Men brand, in time for the Father’s Day retailing period.
Conair will continue to focus on its hero product, the i-trim stubble+Facial Trimmer (VS7855A RRP $102).
Category Manager, Cindie Yates, said the trimmer builds on the success of the prior year model.
“To continue our focus on this hero product, we will be supporting it during the Father’s Day period with an extensive TV advertising campaign focusing on free-to-air and paid television spots, a PR campaign, in-store POS support and continued online support through SEO and SEM,” said Yates.
Vidal Sassoon For Men will also be releasing three new male grooming products. The i-groom all-in-one Grooming System (VS7836A RRP $72), the Metro Titanium Precision Deluxe 10-in-1 Grooming System (VS7053A RRP $34), and the Metro Washable Precision Trimmer (VS7051A RRP $14).
