SYDNEY, NSW: The look and feel of Miele galleries in Australia and New Zealand is to be upheld by a newly created position, the National Gallery Coordinator.

Olivia Cordner will be responsible for ensuring that gallery events represent Miele’s company credo of ‘forever better’.

The galleries, which showcase appliances in a lifestyle environment, are meant to be “inspiring, relaxed and designed to inform and help rather than sell and confuse”, according to the Miele website.

Galleries in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland will be managed by Cordner, who will liaise extensively with Miele’s brand ambassador Shannon Bennet. The renowned chef directs the food and beverage selection at gallery events and cooking demonstrations.

Barbara Muhlethaler, marketing services manager, said, “With her background in event management, Olivia brings a wealth of valuable experience to this new position. This is only matched by her enthusiasm and application to her role.”

Cordner has previously worked in hotel event management at the Hyatt and Crown in Melbourne.
