Pioneer Australia has unveiled two new Blu-ray home theatre systems which are slated for a July release. Both include 1080p HD video playback and a range of connectivity options.

The HTZ-808BD and the HTZ-606BD are the two latest offerings in Pioneer’s home theatre line-up and offer something for every consumer. The HTZ-808BD features a tall-boy speaker design and the HTZ-606BD includes satellite speakers.

Both packages feature an impressive ‘high gloss’ polished acrylic exterior, but are also backed by solid specifications.

They feature 1080p resolution with true 24-frames per second, 12-bit HDMI Deep Colour Support, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio Essential.

Connectivity is also very easy with Pioneer’s new home theatre solutions thanks to a variety of interfaces, including HDMI, Ethernet, DLNA, USB and mini-jack. An integrated Bluetooth receiver allows consumers to stream audio from their Bluetooth device.

Both systems are certified to work with iPhone and all major audio files are supported, including WMA, MP3 and AAC. JPEG images can also be displayed and music can be ripped from CD to USB.

Both the HTZ-808BD and HTZ-606BD will be available in July for RRP $899 and RRP $699 respectively.
