F&P deny Clive Peeters debt reports

SYDNEY, NSW: In a statement sent to the media today, Fisher & Paykel chief operating officer Mike Church rejected a claim in a recent media report that it was owed money by Clive Peeters.

“Media statements which report Fisher & Paykel is owed money by Clive Peeters are inaccurate and it must be affirmed that Fisher & Paykel is not a creditor of Clive Peeters," said Church.

Clive Peeters was placed in receivership on 19 May 2010. Last week, Harvey Norman Holdings purchased most of the stores in the Clive Peeters/Rick Hart network.
