SYDNEY, NSW: LG Electronics Australia has today formally announced the appointment of Brad Reed to its senior category marketing manager, mobile communications position. Reed met with dealers and resellers last week at the launch of the LG Optimus Android smartphone.

Reed has over 15 years experience in sales and marketing, with his most recent post being in the Enterprise Solutions and Carrier Alliances divisions at Nokia.

“This is a great opportunity for me to be a part of a progressive company that is at the forefront of consumer and mobile technology innovation,” Reed said.

“LG is making great strides in building its mobile portfolio, creating impressive devices and has ambitious plans to revolutionise the industry.

I’m anticipating the continuation of this success and looking forward to developing new and creative ideas to excite the market.”

Reed, who holds a Business Management Degree (Marketing) from UNSW, was welcomed to the LG fold by mobile communications general manager Nathan Dunn.

“We are delighted to welcome Brad to LG Australia and know that his extensive experience will lead the mobile communications team to new heights,” Dunn said.
