Fujitsu General reported soaring sales across several product categories this year, including inverter wall-hung split and ducted systems, confirming the company is in solid shape for 2011.

These achievements, and strategic plans for 2011, were unveiled at Fujitsu General’s five-day sales conference, held from 21 -25 June in Alice Springs and Uluru, attended by more than 60 delegates.

Addressing his team, Fujitsu General deputy managing director, Philip Perham said, “Despite the economic climate of the last year, Fujitsu has achieved record growth, with our products tracking well in both the domestic and commercial markets.”

“Our promotions have once again been extremely successful, driving sales as well as customers into stores, and we’re excited about the new products we’ll be introducing over the coming year.”

Team building experts BeChallenged also facilitated a number of experiential learning activities during the sales conference.

“This was a fantastic exercise for the team, helping them get to know their colleagues better and building on each of their strengths to complete the different challenges,” added Perham.

Special guests included Fujitsu Racing V8 Supercar Drivers Lee Holdsworth and Michael Caruso.

At its annual Gala Awards on the conference’s final night, Fujitsu General acknowledged outstanding staff achievements.

The Company Distinction Award went to David Harper, Queensland customer support engineer; Account Executive of the Year was Deon Powter (Queensland) and the State Manager of the Year and Bill Gillett Memorial Award Winner was Ronnie Hinch (Queensland).
