SYDNEY, NSW: LG Electronics has once again invested in the Good Food and Wine Show, with consumers in Sydney encouraged to touch and feel the Korean supplier’s major kitchen appliances during the show, which runs from today through Sunday.

In addition to the thousands of consumers that pass through the doors at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, LG is entertaining dealers this afternoon at its stand, with celebrity chef Darren Simpson cooking up afternoon treats for LG’s retail partners.

At the launch of the stand this morning, Simpson demonstrated the ease of use and convenience of LG’s kitchen appliances, including its pyrolytic, multi-function ovens and gas cooktops, at a media conference.

This year’s Good Food and Wine Show is expected to be significantly well-attended, with MasterChef stars George and Gary the key drawcards. Although most of the stands were still being erected when Current.com.au visited, it was clear that MasterChef Australia has had a big impact on how the exhibitors were marketing their products.

For example, the premier dining room located at the centre of the Exhibition Centre featured recipes from Gary and George that had been included on MasterChef. Additionally, ticket sales for their shows have been selling well, according to organisers.

As part of LG’s exhibition over the weekend, consumers have the chance to walk through a dedicated built-in LG kitchen, which features the full cache of LG appliances. This includes ovens, induction and gas cooktops, French Door fridges, dishwashers, microwaves and steam appliances.
