After a decade at Vintec Transtherm Australia, national sales and marketing manager Di Hill has announced her retirement with a succession plan already in place.

Hill has been credited with significantly growing awareness of the wine cabinet category in Australia and New Zealand in conjunction with the business’s owner, Jean-Marie Simart.

In addition to heading the company’s sales and marketing operations, Hill was responsible for Vintec Transtherm’s South Australian business which was managed from the Sydney office.

She recently completed a promotion with Foster’s that included the distribution of 10,000 wine cabinets to consumers.

Hill commenced with the company shortly after its inception and has assisted with the establishment of Vintec Transtherm showrooms, agency appointments, retail outlets and wine industry related partnerships.

Hill told Current.com.au that while she is “taking a break,” she will continue to work on a consultancy basis to assist with new marketing opportunities.

Replacing Hill is Thomas Benhamou who has joined as marketing manager. Thomas reports to Jean-Marie Simart. Benhamou has an MBA in sales and marketing strategy and experience with international retail brands.

Representing Vintec Transtherm’s business in South Australia will be Gary Cahill and Greg Hillier from DM Agencies, trading as iBrands Marketing.
