SYDNEY, NSW: Samsung has moved quickly to take advantage of its place among Australia's first 3D TV suppliers with the arrival of its Series 8 3D LED TVs.

Included in the new range is 65-inch panel, which is the largest screen size among Samsung’s 3D TVs and also comes in a premium chrome finish.

Also available in 46 and 55-inch screens, Series 8 includes Series 7 technologies such as Internet@TV services, PVR functionality and Skype, as well as a new Pinpoint Dimming technology which the company said is designed to deliver a more detailed and vibrant picture.

“The response to our first-to-market 3D TV range, the Series 7, has been exceptional, and the arrival of Series 8 now offers consumers looking for a 3D TV not only a broader range of screen sizes, but also a new level in premium design,” said head of marketing, consumer electronics, Samsung Electronics Australia, Mark Leathan.

“The eye catching look of the stylish chrome finish, combined with the best in class picture quality our Pinpoint Dimming technology delivers, makes this new range really stand out in the competitive TV market.”

Samsung’s 65-inch Series 8 3D LED TV is available for RRP $7,499, while the 55 and 46-inch editions are available for RRP $5,499 and RRP $4,299, respectively.
