SYDNEY, NSW: LG Electronics plans to back up its sizable investment in the home appliances category this year by showcasing its cooking appliances and new range of French door fridges, side by side fridges and kompressor vacuum cleaners at the Good Food and Wine Shows around the country.

With the Melbourne leg of the show kicking of this Friday, LG plans to feature a series of cooking demonstrations to go with its products.

According to LG category manager home appliances, Glacel Lubrin, with cooking being more popular than ever now is the time for the company to show what it can offer in the kitchen.

“The home appliances category continues to be a real focus for LG this year.

“We know that Australians are continuing to show off their culinary skills and their homes to their family and friends and are looking for appliances that not only look great but are reliable and functional.”

LG has added a further incentive to its stands at the Melbourne, Perth or Sydney Good Food and Wine Shows, with consumers who spend $3000 or more on its integrated kitchen appliances in a single transaction eligible to receive a bonus 22-inch LCD TV via redemption.

This week also saw LG announce the launch of its My Designer Kitchen website, www.lgdesignerkitchen.com.au , which is designed to allow consumers to create a personal kitchen that suits both their needs and their own style.
