MELBOURNE, VIC: Despite today’s announcement that it has gone in receivership, Clive Peeters will keep its doors open in the immediate future.

According to its receivers and managers, PPB, the retailer will do its best to communicate with key stakeholders.

“Clive Peeters continues to operate on a ‘business as usual’ basis under our control as receivers and managers,” said PPB’s Phil Carter in a statement.

“We intend to stabilise the business as a matter of urgency and will be in contact with key stakeholders in the near future."

Clive Peeters operates stores in Queensland at Aspley, Ipswich, Maroochydore, Loganholme, Maryborough, Bungaberg, Burleigh Waters, Macgregor, Morayfield, Townsville, Hervey Bay, Mackay, Zillmere as well as the Aspley Homemaker store and the Macgregor Warehouse.

Clive Peeters operates stores in New South Wales at Auburn, Bella Vista, Belrose, Casula and the Wetherill Park distribution centre.

Clive Peeters operates stores in Victoria at Bendigo, Braybrook, Coburg, Dandenong, Malvern, Mildura, Moorabbin, Mornington, Richmond, Thomastown, Warrnambool, Ringwood as well as clearance outlets at Greensborough and Richmond and an operation at Bayswater North (incorporating a head office, commercial office and warehouse).

Clive Peeters operates Rick Hart branded stores in Western Australia at Belmont, Bunbury, City, Claremont, Joondalup, Mandurah, Midland, Oconnor, Osborne Park and Welshpool as well as seconds stores at Canning Vale, Osborne Park and Rockingham and the Victoria Park Discount Superstore.
