SYDNEY, NSW: LG Electronics has joined the promotions rush with the announcement of a range of offers to coincide with this week’s release of its 2010 TV range.

LG will offer consumers a 3D bonus pack, a Blu-ray home theatre system or a 22-inch HD LCD TV with every purchase of selected TVs.

The 3D bonus pack, which includes two pairs of 3D glasses and a Fujifilm 3D digital camera (RRP $1,097), is of particular interest because LG had previously announced that, unlike its competitors, it will not be packaging any 3D glasses with its new range.

The Blu-ray home theatre system included in the promotion is valued at RRP $699, while the 22-inch HD LCD TV comes at RRP $499.

This promotional move is an important step for LG after the company, despite being second-to-market after Samsung, were well behind other suppliers in launching its 2010 TV range while targeting much higher price points with its premium launch models selling for RRP $5,199 and $4,099.

LG’s new promotion is valid for purchases made between 17 May and 11 July 2010 and redemptions can be made online at www.lg.com.au/promotion/tvbonusoffer.

The final date for all redemptions to be claimed is by 30 July 2010.
