BRISBANE, QLD: Due to the expansion of Crest Electronics’ entertainment and IT portfolios, the Brisbane based Australian supplier has appointed a new general manager to head up those divisions.

Former Harvey Norman pro Mark King is the new man in the hot seat.

King’s remit is to ensure continued excellence in service and support to Crest’s trade partners.

Crest currently distributes a range of accessories, including surge protectors, headphones, HDMI cables and carry cases.

Crest managing director Greg Randle said King has a wealth of experience in the Australian consumer electronics industries, including stints with several major retailers.

“Mark has an extremely comprehensive background in consumer electronics over the past 15 years, holding senior management positions in companies including Powermove, Harvey Norman, Pioneer Electronics, Convoy, and Kenwood Electronics,” said Randle.

“Mark has also served as a director on CEDIA and the Digital Broadcasting Australia board.”
