SYDNEY, NSW: IT products supplier Simms International has this morning announced that Michael Rickers has joined the company in the newly created role of general manager of sales.
The new role will see Rickers responsible for overseeing the company’s expanding sales team in support of its growing portfolio across three divisions: corporate, retail and specialist Apple.
Rickers was previously head of north region sales at Hitachi Data Systems, and also held the position of general manager at Computercorp.
Simms managing director, Danny Moore, said he has high hopes for Rickers and the newly created role.
“He brings a wealth of experience and his outstanding ability to communicate and align the needs of vendors and resellers enhances what Simms stands for.”
