According to NSW Police, a reported 500 satellite navigation units were stolen from a warehouse in Sydney’s inner west over the weekend. The estimated total value of the goods is around $100,000.

Police are currently appealing for information about the robbery, which occurred in a warehouse on Victoria Road.

Gladesville Police were called to the scene at 6:15am on Saturday 20 March to investigate the matter. Initial inquiries have revealed that offenders made their way into the building around 3am that morning.

Police are estimating the total value of the stolen goods to be around $100,000.

Members of the public are being warned to be cautious when purchasing a GPS unit offered at a reduced price either online or in pubs and markets.

Anyone who might have information about the identity of those responsible or may have been offered a satellite navigation unit at a reduced price is asked to contact Gladesville Police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
