Microsoft has announced the availability of its new Xbox 360 Elite Easter pack. The new bundle includes an Xbox 360 Elite console and two of the highest selling games of 2009 thrown in for free.

Starting yesterday, any consumer who purchases a new Xbox 360 Elite console, will now receive two highly acclaimed Xbox 360 exclusive games for free. Halo 3: ODST and Forza Motorsport 3 will come bundled with the unit and consumers will still pay the same RRP of $449.

Microsoft is confident that this new bundle will sell extremely well over the Easter period because of the great value for money it offers consumers. The company says that this pack is perfect for those who want a premium gaming and entertainment experience.

Halo 3:ODST was developed exclusively for the Xbox 360 and lets players experience the events leading up to the story told in Halo 3, through the eyes of an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper). The game will also grant access to the upcoming Halo: Reach multiplayer beta on Xbox LIVE, which begins on 3 May 2010.

Forza Motorsport 3 is the highest rated racing game of this console generation and lets gamers experience the thrill of some of the world’s  most exotic and exquisite cars. This hugely successful title lets you take the wheel of more than 400 cars on over 100 renowned real-world tracks. Too add further incentive, Microsoft has stated that new game add-ons will be released every month this year.

The new Xbox 360 Elite Easter pack is available now for an RRP of $449.
