Lexar recently unveiled its latest range of professional memory card solutions, with improved speed and storage capacity. The new portfolio of products is said to be perfect for professional photographers and camera enthusiasts.

According to Lexar, improvements have been made to both the Professional Line of CompactFlash (CF) and Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) memory cards. The most notable enhancements are that the Professional 300x CF cards now have a capacity up to 32 gigabytes and the Professional 133x SDHC cards have achieved a Class 10 speed rating.

According to Richard Clarke, national sales manager ANZ, Lexar Media, the new range of memory card solutions will give photographers more flexibility when it comes to their storage needs.

“For professional photographers, running out of space on a memory card just isn’t an option,” he said.

“Lexar’s high-performance and high-capacity memory cards allow photographers to shoot more images than ever before without the added burden of worrying about when their memory card may fill up.”

“The capacity increases and functionality improvements we have made to the Lexar Professional product line further signify Lexar Media’s commitment to fulfilling demands of the industry and providing photographers with the equipment they need to maximise their digital imaging experience.”

Lexar’s new range is available now from specialty photo retailers and consumer electronics retailers including Camera House, Dick Smith Electronics, Harvey Norman, Myer and Teds.

The Lexar Professional 300x CF comes in three capacities: 8 gigabytes (RRP $124.60), 16 gigabytes (RRP $177.35) and 32 gigabytes (RRP $238.70).

The Lexar Professional 133x SDHC is available in both 4-gigabyte (RRP $56.80) and 8-gigabyte (RRP $117.20) capacities.
