AVG appoints new sales director

SYDNEY, NSW: Michael Dowling has been appointed the new corporate sales director for AVG. In this new role, Dowling will be responsible for expanding the usage of AVG’s anti-virus and internet security software in the SMB and enterprise markets.

“This is a tremendous opportunity to build a great team and an energised network. With a disciplined sales approach we will be able to really get behind our strong product line, enthusiastic resellers and satisfied customer base,” said Dowling.

Dowling has previously worked at Melbourne IT, Domain Intellect, IT&E, Zebra Direction and Achieve Global.

Talking about this appointment is AVG’s Australian managing director Peter Cameron.

“With Michael on board we can now confidently step up our plans for growth through building stronger relationships with our existing partners and capturing new business.”
