LAS VEGAS: Named one of the top 50 best inventions of 2009 alongside the Dyson Air Multiplier by Time Magazine, the Fold and Play recycled cardboard speaker from OrigAudio, is looking for a distributor in the Australian market.

Fold and Play is a collapsible 3-inch speaker that requires no power and connects directly into an audio source via a standard headphone jack. They are available in five designs or as a ‘blank canvas’.

According to OrigAudio director, Mike Szymczak, the Chicago based company is already sending product to the Australian market, but with excessive shipping costs.

Szymczak estimates that some Australians are paying $US45 in shipping for the $US16 product.
