First Sony was giving away 15,000 PS3 consoles when you bought a Bravia, then they added another 10,000 units, and now due to the overwhelming demand a free Blu-ray player and movie pack is up for grabs.

The new promotion will entitle customers who buy a selected Bravia TV before 31 December 2009, to receive a free BDPS360 Blu-ray player valued at $349 and three Blu-ray titles including: Pink Funhouse Tour Live in Australia, Kings of Leon at the 02 London and Evening with Il Divo worth $98.85. The selected Bravia LCD TV will also receive a three year warranty.

Toby Barbour, deputy general manager of consumer products marketing at Sony Australia, commented on the new value offer for Bravia customers.

“Sales of televisions in Australia have been even greater than what we anticipated this Christmas, with HD TVs proving to be a highly desirable investment or present for the whole family,” he said.

“With this new bonus Blu-ray and warranty package, our Bravia range will continue to add value to both consumers and retailers throughout December and support the demand for HD TVs.”

The offer is only available on selected sizes of the following Bravia LCD TVs: Z5500 series, W5500 series, WE5 series, XBR series, EX series and the ZX1 series.

To receive the bonus offer, consumers need to visit www.sony.com.au/offer and register their details.

Consumers are also being encouraged to sign up to the Sony Australia facebook fan page for a chance to win games and movies to play on their new Bravia and Blu-ray player.
