Haier Australia has treated select Queensland retailers from Harvey Norman and Retravision to a VIP weekend at the state’s biggest power boat racing event.
Twelve local retailers from around Queensland were taken out to Bundaberg on 7 and 8 November for The Wide Bay Australia Bundy Thunder, where the Team Haier Madness boat was one of the competitors.
Retailers enjoyed VIP seating for the event and dinner with the Team Haier Madness crew. Leonard Wallace, Haier Queensland sales agent was also present to thank his retail partners
“Haier is always grateful for the dedication and great work our retailers show us, so we like to reward them with events such as this one. We all had a great time, meeting the boat crew was a standout,” he said.
The Haier team and racing identity Troy Mayland ended up winning every race entered, including the 5.2-litre Displacement races and the Unlimited Displacement race.
The team also won the Brad Pratt Memorial race for the second consecutive year.
