It’s a buyer’s market with all the giveaways, but wait, there’s more

SYDNEY, NSW: With companies putting on great promotions like Sony’s free PSP with an LCD and Panasonic’s HD Bonus giveaways, it’s a buyer’s market at the moment. And now Panasonic is giving even more away.

Sony’s latest free PlayStation 3 Slim giveaway with a BRAVIA LCD is proving very popular again, as it was last year. The 2009 promotion started on Thursday 22 October and in just 5 days, already 3,080 120 GB PlayStation 3 Slims have been claimed by consumers. The promotion closes 20 December 2009.

Panasonic is also giving away one of three HD Bonus gift packs with the purchase of a Full HD VIErA plasma.

And now Panasonic’s latest promotion is a chance to win a Full HD VIErA LCD after purchasing any Panasonic LUMIX camera.

From 26 October until 3 January 2010, consumers who purchase any Panasonic LUMIX camera have the chance to win a TH-L32X10A 32-inch VIErA LCD TV. Panasonic is giving away 1,000 of these TVs with 100 given away every week of the promotion.

“Simply purchase a feature-packed LUMIX digital still camera from participating retailers during the promotion, and you could win a Full HD VIErA LCD TV, valued at $1,099 RRP,” said Panasonic Australia category manager, Mobile AV, Alistair Robins.

“This is the perfect prize for LUMIX users — they can shoot still images or AVCHD HD video on their camera, and then put their SD card into the VIErA TV’s SD card slot to share these great memories with friends in vivid high-definition.”

Panasonic announced it will be support the promotion with a strong national radio campaign and online advertising as well as point of sale.

Consumers can visit the website, www.lumix.com.au/win, from 26 October to register their purchase and find out instantly if they are a winner.
