SYDNEY, NSW: Hoover Australia has released its Freejet 3-in-1 bagless, cordless stick-vac for day to day cleaning in between regular vacuuming. It is light, it swivels, it stands upright on its own and transforms into a handheld vacuum.

The new 2.8-kilogram Hoover Freejet 3-in-1 bagless (RRP $199), cordless stick-vac features a turbo-nozzle so it can pick up crumbs, pet hair and general dirt and dust from carpet as well as timber and tiled floors.

“Once we’d do a sweep in between vacuuming,” said Hoover Floorcare’s director, Damian Court, “but times are changing — thankfully — and now thanks to the launch of the ‘stick-vac’, sweeping is a thing of the past.

“Throw your brooms away and pick up the Freejet instead. It’s ergonomically designed to make cleaning the floor a breeze — no elbow-grease required,” he said.

It is called a 3-in-1 because it can handle three main cleaning duties — carpet floors, hard floors and hand-held vacuuming. It is also unique in that it can be parked upright when not in use, so it can stand up on its own without having to be positioned back on the charging holster.

It has Hoover’s Cyclean bagless technology, maximum power at 12V, washable filters and a nozzle neck with a 180 degree rotation. The NiMh rechargeable batteries give up to 20 minutes use before it requires charging.
