LONG JETTY, NSW: Industry sources have revealed that a fire overnight at a whitegoods sales and service outlet on the NSW Central Coast is being treated as suspicious by local Police.

Police and the fire brigade were called to the Everlast Washing Machines and Refrigeration Service at 312A The Entrance Road Long Jetty, after midnight last night. When the emergency crews arrived at the scene, the specialist whitegoods store was ablaze.

According to reports, the fire was quickly extinguished and the premises suffered only minor damage.

Police reportedly suspected that a fire bomb caused the blaze, however no details could be confirmed, despite several phone calls to the Gosford, The Entrance and The Tuggerah Lakes police duty officers by Current.com.au today.
