Nokia has announced a plethora of new devices at its Nokia World 09 event in Germany, some of the exciting products unveiled include the Nokia Booklet 3G, N97 Mini and its new ‘Comes With Music’ devices, the X6 and X3.

One of the key items that has gained a lot of attention at the launch is the Nokia Booklet 3G, which is the first time Nokia has entered the mini laptop PC market.

The new models specifications have just emerged from the event and they are quite impressive.

Some of the features include: Windows 7 operating system, Intel Atom processor, 19.9mm thick, inbuilt WLAN and WWAN and 3G/HSPA with hot swappable sim card.

The Booklet also has a host of Nokia integrated services to make connecting with your Nokia handset even easier. Some of these include Ovi Suite 2.0, Nokia Music for PC, Ovi Maps, Social Hub and Nokia Software Updater.

Back to the handset side of the business, Nokia is keen to keep the N97 brand pumping with a new companion to the original model. The N97 Mini features many of the same features as its bigger brother, like a tilting touch display, QWERTY keyboard and fully customisable homescreen. The only real difference its size and stainless steel finish.

The N97 mini is set to begin shipping in October 2009.

The ‘Comes With Music’ service is another key seller for Nokia, and to further enhance this service the company is releasing two new models in the range, the X3 and X6.

The Nokia X3 is the first series 40 Ovi-store enabled device and comes featured with stereo speakers, built-in FM radio and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

The X6 is capable of playing up to 35 hours of music, with 32GB of on-board memory and a 3.2-inch finger touch interface

Both units are expected to begin shipping during the fourth quarter of 2009.
