Apple has just unveiled a host of new iPod devices, one of the main standouts was the iPod nano which now incorporates a built-in video camera with easy transfer to YouTube.

According to Apple, the new iPod Nano will feature a video camera, microphone and speaker. In addition to this it also has a built-in FM radio, pedometer and a new larger screen.

“iPod nano is the world’s most popular music player with over 100 million sold,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “And now we’ve added a video camera to its incredibly thin design, without any additional cost to the user.”

The larger 2.2-inch display on the new nano is expected to make navigation easier, as well as make the new video capturing features more accessible. The addition of a speaker also means users can share their videos with friends straight through the device.

The built-in FM radio also features a live pause ability, which allows consumers to pause live radio and resume playing later. The pedometer also adds that extra incentive for those consumers who want to use the device while exercising.

The new iPod nano is available immediately for a RRP of $199 for 8GB model and $249 for the 16GB model. All units are available in silver, black, purple, blue, green, orange and pink. Apple has also announced that a yellow and red version will be available through the Apple Store and Apple’s retail stores.
