Viewsonic which is renowned for its visual display products has bolstered its reputation as a personal computer provider with a variety of recent releases into the market. The newest addition is the VNB101 netbook.

According to Viewsonic, the company is drawing on its vast experience in the technology industry to create a complete computing solution for consumers, and with this recent addition it is really catering for everyone.

The VNB101 netbook features a 25mm super slim form factor and weighs in at only 1.1kg. In addition to this it is embellished with IML (in-mould labelling) surface technology and is extremely durable, resisting scratches and scuffs with a high-shine finish.

It incorporates a 10-inch wide colour TFT Active Matrix LED-backlit display, which according to Viewsonic dispels less heat and is very energy efficient.

This unit also uses multi-touch technology, allowing users to browse web pages, zoom and rotate images, or jump pages with the touch of a finger.

In terms of specifications the VNB101 possesses an Intel Atom N260 processor, has a fast 8-second boot up time, WiFi 802.11 b/g, 10/100 Ethernet, built-in Bluetooth and a 92 per cent standard size keyboard.

The Viewsonic VNB101 will be available exclusively through Clive Peeters from September 2009 for an RRP of $699.
