3 Mobile has announced that it has updated its pricing for the new iPhone 3GS which will be available to consumers tomorrow. Dramatically reducing some of its prices revealed earlier in the week.

The iPhone 3GS will still be available over the same four capped plans, but what is different from the release earlier in the week is that some handset costs have been lowered.

The $39 cap will offer $310 worth of total value and 150MB of data, but now comes with handset costs of $10 a month and $14 a month for the 16GB and 32GB models respectively.

The $49 cap offers $590 worth of total value, 250MB of data, and has handset costs of $5 a month and $10 a month for the 16GB and 32GB handsets respectively.

On the $79 cap consumers will receive 1GB of data and $1000 of total value, and the 16GB handset is still free, but the 32GB model is now only $5 a month.

The $110 ‘The Works’ plan remains unchanged with 3000 minutes, 500 SMS / MMS and 3GB of data. The 16GB handset is free and the 32GB is $5 a month.

John Casey, director of marketing at VHA commented on the new pricing.

“In the true spirit of the 3 brand, we have delivered real innovation at a truly affordable price. We are pleased to announce an offer at launch, which we hope will be irresistible to customers,” he said.

“I’d like to thank 3 Mobile customers for their patience. Good things come to those who wait, and our customers have waited long enough. We trust they’ll like our pricing and we are more confident that they will enjoy the entire iPhone experience with 3.”

The iPhone 3GS will be available for general purchase tomorrow and is available to pre-registered customers today.
