It has just announced that Ray Clarke will be joining the Viewsonic team and will take on the role of business development manager.

Viewsonic develops, markets and supports a broad range of innovative products, including all-in-one PCs, LCD monitors, LCD TVs, projectors, digital photo frames and digital signage displays.

In his new role with the company, Clarke will be responsible for developing the Viewsonic brand in the consumer/retail space and enhancing its go-to-market strategy.

William Tse, country manager at Viewsonic Australia, commented on the recent addition to the team.

We are thrilled that Ray has joined Viewsonic at a time when we are announcing exciting new products,” he said.

“Ray has a demonstrated track record in sales working across a variety of sectors and we are confident that Ray will be a significant contributor to Viewsonic Australia’s growth strategy.”

Clarke is only relatively new to the IT scene, with just over two years experience working with a major distributor in product management and sales positions.

But in addition to this he has held national sales and management positions in the recruitment industry over a 20 year period. Prior to this, Clarke was an accountant for approximately 10 years.

“At a time of economic decline and low recruitment levels, Viewsonic sees this as an opportunity to ramp up operations and expand its product range in anticipation of the company rapidly moving forward,” said Tse.
