SYDNEY, NSW: Cimbre company director Ottavio Cimino has reported that due to the export success achieved in international markets such as Qatar and Eastern Europe, and the strong interest shown by Italian importers for the Fornax range, he has established Cimbre International Limited.

Cimino said that Cimbre had invested more than $2.5 million in research and development over the past two year. This enabled the development of a range of gas and electric cooking appliances focused on energy efficiency and safety

“The commercial success of the newly designed cooking appliance range is demonstrated by the recent successful launch of the Amica brand in Australia, which will rapidly expand in the next 6 months,” said Cimino.

Cimbre International planned expansion of the Amica range will include the 90-centimentre upright cooker (AS9GGS), which will feature a combination of high density ceramic insulation and a high performance cooling system.

This product expansion will also include a 54-centimetre duel fuel upright cooker, which has been design and manufactured with the same safety characteristics as the 90-centimetre wide versions. This stainless steel cooker will be equipped with a seven-mode multifunction oven, wok burner, cast iron trivets, and a triple glazed door.

Cimino said he hoped for further product expansion sometime in early 2010.
