SYDNEY: Panasonic has praised its retail partners for making it the best camera and imaging supplier over the last year.

Speaking to Current.com.au, Panasonic category marketing manager Alistair Robins singled out the retailers for thanks for being recognised as the nation’s leading vendor of cameras and imaging equipment.

“Panasonic is proud to have been awarded Best Imaging Supplier at the 2009 ERA Awards,” said Robins.

“We’d would like to extend sincere thanks to retailers for their continued support of both the Panasonic LUMIX and camcorder range, and we look forward to further growth and exciting developments for the rest of the year and into 2010.”

“This award is a testament to Panasonic’s strength in this market and our constant commitment to offering the most advanced and convenient products and the ultimate imaging experience to Panasonic customers.”

“Our strong retail programs will continue this year with the LUMIX Academy – Shoot for New Zealand campaign supported by an exciting consumer promotion which offers consumers a 1 in 5 chance to win a VIERA 32-inch LCD TV valued at $1,319 with every LUMIX DMC-FT1 and DMC-TZ7 purchased due, commencing 1 May.”

Panasonic also won the ERA for Best Cooling supplier at this event.
