A blender sold at Good Guys, Coles and various other stores has been recalled today due to the injury risk it poses from breaking glass. This is a national recall.
The blender, which was supplied by GAF Control Australia, was sold under the brand names Tiffany and You’ll Love Coles between 2004 and 2009. Stores listed as retailers for this faulty product also includes the Warehouse Group, Campbells Cash & Carry, Franklins, Kmart and other independent stores.
The defect detail is listed by the ACCC as “potential for injury resulting from broken glass”. Consumers are advised to cease using the blender and to return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
The affected models are:
BLS1 – Tiffany 1.5L Stainless Steel Blender
YLCB – You’ll love Coles 1.5L Stainless Steel Blender
HMBLSK – Homemaker 1.5L Stainless Steel Blender
