SYDNEY: Retravision WA, Harvey Norman and the Good Guys were the big winners in the retail awards at last Friday’s Electrical Retailing Awards (ERAs).

Overall, Harvey Norman won the most retail store awards, walking home with 5 of the 10 ERAs up for grabs. Despite this impressive performance, the Good Guys spoilt the night for Harvey Norman, winning the Best Retail Group award.

In the state-based categories, Good Guys Castle Hill won for New South Wales, Harvey Norman Darwin for the Northern Territory, Harvey Norman Bundall for Queensland, Harvey Norman Marion for South Australia, Harvey Norman Cambridge Park for Tasmania, Good Guys Frankston for Victoria and Kambos Malaga for Western Australia.

Kambos Malaga, which is a member of Retravision WA, also won the ERA for Best Retail Store in a state with more than 2 million people. Harvey Norman Darwin won the ERA for Best Retail store in a state with less than 2 million people.

The Retail ERA awards are based on votes by suppliers through Australia.
