Former Narta director, Richard Luce, has died

It is with sadness that we advise that Richard Luce died on the night of Wednesday 22 April 2009.

Richard had been a bastion to the consumer electronics industry, firstly as a director of Sharp Australia and more recently as a director of Narta from 2002 to 2006.

In a statement issued by Narta this afternoon, a spokesperson reported that Luce’s funeral will be held at 3pm on Monday 27 April at St Thomas Aquinas Church, 2 Bendooley Street, Bowral, New South Wales.

Following the service, there will be a celebration of his life at Bowral Golf Club, at the corner of Kangaloon Road and David Street, Bowral.

The family has requested no flowers, but donations can be made to Can Assist Southern Highlands Branch.  Can Assist is a charitable support network whose purpose is to provide assistance and care to cancer patients and their families in rural New South Wales.  Their contact details are:

Narta further said that its thoughts are with Janet, Tim, Mark and Chris at this very sad time.
