This coming Mother’s Day, TEAC Australia is launching a unique promotion that will offer consumers the chance to win a housekeeper for a year.

The promotion will run from 1 April to 31 May 2009, and all customers have to do to enter is purchase any TEAC product during the period.

As well as the major draw, consumers also have a chance to win one of 10 runner-up prizes, which will entitle the winner to a housekeeper for two months.

TEAC has commented that “changing bed linen, washing, ironing, bed-making, general maintenance, cleaning of the home or apartment etc, can be a thing of the past during this period”.

The reason for this promotion, according to TEAC, is to leverage further increased sales of its electronic products, from LCD TVs to smaller audio items, due to the fact that it will entice consumers to “take a look at TEAC”.

Retailers are also set to benefit from this Mother’s Day promotion — TEAC are supporting the promotion with an extensive media campaign including radio advertising and POS support to drive consumers in-store.
