SYDNEY: Samsung Electronics Australia has today announced the appointment of Philip Newton to the director of IT position. Newton will be responsible for the future direction of the Samsung IT division, with his remit being to create increased business for Samsung’s print and monitor solutions.
"Over the past two decades, I’ve watched Samsung mature into a brand of substance, consistently producing world-class products that set the standard for the consumer electronics industry,” said Newton
“Key to Samsung’s growth is aligning Samsung’s growing product range to meet the evolving needs of the market to provide enterprise customers with a one stop shop.”
A Samsung spokesperson said this appointment “demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening not only the IT division, but Samsung’s entire business and brand in Australia”.
