The Breville Group has performed exceptionally well in this years GfK Number One Awards receiving ten awards across various categories.

The Breville brand received seven awards, Kambrook claimed two and Philips also achieved a number one spot.

For the past 4 years GfK have provided Number One Awards to the top-selling brand according to GfK retail audit data, in each category, and in each country, in the Asia Pacific region. The awards are based on unit sales for the period from January to December 2008.

Breville Group general manager for sales, Jeremy Sargeant, was extremely delighted given the current economic conditions.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition from GfK as these results especially reaffirm our sales plan is on target in these trying times,” said Sargeant.

“Achieving the number one ranking in so many categories reinforces that the Breville Group continues to hit the mark when it comes to suppling the right range of products for a variety of markets.”
