Samsung has today announced the release of a new camcorder, the VP-MX20. The Korean supplier is promoting this model as “the perfect launch pad” to video websites like YouTube.

Features of the new camcorder include H.264 Video Format flash memory with SDHC/MMC expansion, Schneider Lens (34x optical zoom) with built-in lens cover, 3-hour battery life, image noise reduction, Hyper DIS, face detection, Super LCD plus and interval video capture.

Talking about this release is Samsung marketing manager DAV, Sagar Dave.

“The Samsung VP-MX20 is a next-generation camcorder designed to capture and share content with friends and family on multi-media devices and the internet,” said Dave.

“The camcorder has been designed with internet savvy, video sharing consumers in mind, and we expect this camera to be a huge hit with the web 2.0 generation and anyone who enjoys sharing their world.”

The Samsung VP-MX20 is available now in black or red, and is RRP $379.
