SYDNEY: Fujitsu General will see in the new year under the guidance of a new managing director, Shuichi Takada. He replaces Etsuro Saito who was the MD since 2003.

Takada served seven years in senior positions at Fujitsu General’s factories in China and most recently Thailand, where he held the dual roles of director as well as general manager of the Mechanical Components Development Division.

Fujitsu said that Takada is looking forward to travelling around Australia early next year to meet as many of Fujitsu General’s customers as he can.

Saito returns to Japan to join the International Marketing and Sales Division in the newly created role of general manager – VRF & ATW Products (Variable Refrigerant Flow Air Conditioning and Air to Water Heat Pump Systems). Saito will be responsible for the global sales and marketing of these two key emerging categories.

In a company statement today, Saito thanked his Fujitsu General team for their commitment during his time in Australia. He was also keen to acknowledge the support he and the company received from retailers.
