SYDNEY: Apple Australia has confirmed it will open new stores in Melbourne, the Gold Coast and possibly Brisbane after posting recruitment adverts for each location on Seek.com.au.

The advertisements, listed yesterday, are for ‘Creatives’ – graphic artists who teach people how to use Apple creative software, as well as handling basic computer operations and Windows to Apple transitions.

Apple’s listings confirm the long-rumoured second Melbourne store’s imminent arrival, as well as two previously undiscussed Queensland stores.

According to the Apple recruitment website (where the ‘Apply’ button links to from the Seek advert), the Gold Coast Store will be in Robina Town Centre, while the Melbourne store will be in Doncaster, as previously rumoured. The Brisbane location is currently not listed.

Apple PR executive, Rob Small, said Apple did not “talk about the future” and refused to confirm the potential new store openings, despite their listing on Apple’s website.

The full job listings can be seen here (please note each listing is the same, but with locations altered):

• Brisbane

• Gold Coast

• Melbourne
