SYDNEY: Groupe SEB is doing it bit to encourage consumers to spend this Christmas with a heavy marketing program that includes consumer giveaways and a national TV campaign.

“The Linen Care category is a key focus for Groupe SEB and is therefore reflected with a large marketing investment,” said Tefal Brand Manager, Christine Abdal

“We are committed to providing retailers and consumers with ongoing support. To drive growth in the linen care category, we are focused on promoting our high end models. To provide consumers with value add, we are offering a gift worth $99 and $149 respectively.”

Consumers purchasing a selected Tefal steam iron (FV5245, FV5265, FV7010 or FV9240) will receive bonus Tefal bathroom scales, via redemption, valued at $99.

With the purchase of a selected Tefal steam generator (GV7150, GV8150, GV8360, GV9150 or GV9360), consumers will receive, in store, a bonus Tefal ironing board (valued at $149). In addition, the range will be strongly supported in store with an aggressive demonstration program. The two Tefal promotions will run from 1 November to 31 December 2008 and will be supported with strong point of sale material.

Quick Cup was also promoted via a national three-week TV campaign in all major state capitals that commenced on 26 October and ran until 15th November.

Groupe SEB has also developed a comprehensive support package for stores including counter displays stands, floor stands, on-product POS and an in store DVD.
