SYDNEY: Breville is already rearing to go for the Christmas rush with a series of consumer promotions, including trips overseas and gifts with purchase, which will be supported with point-of-purchase displays and print and TV advertising.

In Breville’s New York, New York Promotion, consumers who purchase any Breville product can go into the draw to win two return flights, five nights accommodation and dinner in New York. If the shopper spends $99 or more they will also receive, by redemption, a box of Cookie Man cookies. This promotion starts on 1 November and closes 31 December 2008.

Breville is offering two separate coffee machine promotions, also running from 1 November to 31 December 2008. Consumers who purchase either the BES820 or 800ES will receive a free BCG450 Conical Burr Grinder valued at RRP $184.95, and a one-kg bag of Harris Columbian Coffee Beans valued at RRP $22.99. These gifts are available at point of purchase.

The second coffee promotion will see consumers who purchase either the new BES250 or ESP8C espresso machines receive a bonus pack of Harris espresso 200g ground coffee valued at RRP $6.29.

In a cross promotion with award winning cook Maggie Beer, consumers who purchase the Professional 800 Collection Grill, 800GR or ikon Grill, BGR400 will receive a bonus Maggie Beer basting pack, valued at RRP $22.00. This offer commences 1 December 2008 and closes 1 January 2009.

Finally, from 1 December 2008 to 31 January 2009, there will be a $30 cash back on the BBL800, Professional 800 Collection Blender, a $20 cash back on the BBL600 blender, ikon 600 and $10 cash back on the BBL550 ikon 550 blender.
