BRISBANE: WOW Sight & Sound managing director Sam Savvas has spoken briefly today about the retail group’s association with the underfire Brisbane Broncos.

After the Broncos come-from-behind win last Friday night, several players, including captain Darren Lockyer and Australian fullback Karmichael Hunt, were implicated in a series of fracas while celebrating. All these incidents are currently under investigation.

“We are aware of the incident as it has been reported by the media and we will make an informed decision once the facts surrounding the matter are clear,” said Savvas.

“The Broncos are a great team and we’re looking forward to an exciting game against Melbourne Storm on Saturday.”

Savvas also voiced his support for the investigations that are currently under way, and for Brisbane Broncos management.

This is second time in a month a retail giant has been drawn in to rugby league controversy. In late August, Harvey Norman maintained its position as a Cronulla Sharks sponsor after Greg Bird was arrested following a glassing incident.
