WOW Sight & Sound have given its first indication of when the new Shepparton store will open its doors for business. The WOW chain is currently undertaking an expansion into new markets after establishing a strong base in its native Queensland.
Speaking to Current.com.au, WOW Sight & Sound director – retail, Con Nicolas, said the new store was set to open as soon as next month.
“We’re looking at a late October opening,” said Nicolas. “Stock will start rolling in in October.”
Nicolas, however, was tightlipped on the exact opening date, which is understandable given the logistical weight that goes into such a venture. Whether it be electrical retail store or any other type of retail outlet, care must be taken in disclosing such information in order to make sure the store is ready come the specified date.
The new WOW store at Shepparton, which will be located on the corner of Benalla Road and Doyle Street, will be the chain’s first in Victoria, and only its fourth store outside of Queensland.
Nicolas also told Current.com.au that the new Canberra store, which will be located in Fyshwick, was progressing well, despite some recent inclement weather. No news yet, however, on that store’s planned opening.
