SYDNEY: Sunbeam has awarded three state sales managers “Legend” status and handed out a bevy of other awards at the firm’s annual sales conference last weekend.

With over a combined 100 years service, Queensland state manager, Ray Kemp, West Australia state manager, Dale Johnston and Tasmania sales manager, Richard Sherriff all made the “Legend” grade.

Sunbeam said the awards were kept secret until the gala evening, held this year in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

“These three gentlemen have made a great contribution to Sunbeam over many years showing loyalty, commitment and a great sense of salesmanship,” said national sales director, Paul Cross.

In other awards, Sales Manager of the Year went to Victorian manager, Scott Browne and South Australian account manager, John Virag, took out Sales Account Manager of the Year.

Runners up in each award were Donna Bowden (NSW) and Sandy Giorgi (Victoria), respectively.

The Victorian/Tasmanian sales team, led by Andrew Downie, won the National Sales Shield for best sales team of the year.

Around 130 Sunbeam staff from both Australia and New Zealand attended the pirate-themed ‘Treasure Hunters’ weekend.
