Bang & Olufsen has opened a new ‘glass cube’ showroom in Adelaide’s CBD. The showroom, which closely resembles an Apple store, is the company’s third Adelaide showroom.

The new showroom, located at 25 Grenfell Street, is two stories tall, with transparent glass paneling at the front. Although the interior appears more informal, it does bear a striking resemblance to the Apple store launched in Sydney’s CBD earlier this year.

“It’s set to be the benchmark for future stores, although there are no concrete plans,” said Bang & Olufsen PR and marketing manager, Tyler Mathes. “Everywhere we open now will have to live up to it.”

Talking about what the new showroom houses, Mathes said it “combines the latest innovative ideas and technologies with sublime design, and comes complete with a uniquely designed full BeoLiving Room to present the ultimate expression of Bang & Olufsen home cinema integration”.

In terms of products, the new showroom features the full Bang & Olufsen range, including flat screen televisions, loudspeakers, telephones and MP3 players.
